Last year, we launched an ambitious campaign to establish a $100,000+ endowment to support Samoset Camps for generations to come. Thanks to an incredible response, we raised $22,000 in our first year! Our goal is to reach $100,000 by the Tesomas 100th Anniversary in 2035.

Camp is special for many reasons, from our excellent facilities to the traditions and memories that last a lifetime. But most importantly, camp is special because of the staff who make it all happen.

The SCAA has supported camp in many ways over the years, but our most important work has always been supporting the staff through training, mentorship, and professional development. This endowment campaign will allow us to expand those efforts and provide consistent support year after year.

A $100,000 endowment could provide approximately $5,000 annually, giving us a sustainable source of funding to support camp staff and their development through a regular, ongoing program of support. Every gift, large or small, helps build a lasting legacy for future Scouts and keeps the spirit of Samoset Camps alive for years to come.
